Topsun has signed an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract

worth KRW 21.8 billion (approx. USD 15 million) with SK D&D for a solar power plant project.

As a renewable energy company providing comprehensive solutions from solar

module manufacturing to plant construction, maintenance, and operation

Topsun has secured a project to construct an 18.112 MW solar power plant and

a 22.9 kV transmission line for grid connection on a 260,000 m² site in Wimi-ri,

Namwon-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Island.

This project is expected to contribute to the reduction of fine dust and greenhouse

gas emissions while also supporting the local community by improving residents’ income.

Construction will commence this month, with completion targeted within six months of

the planned commercial operation date in October next year.

Recently, Topsun has not only won multiple large-scale solar power projects in Korea

but also signed a series of overseas solar module supply agreements, strengthening its

presence in the renewable energy sector. With a stable order backlog exceeding

KRW 400 billion (approx. USD 280 million), Topsun is poised to further establish itself

as a key player in the renewable energy industry.

Building on this momentum, the company plans to continue expanding its order portfolio both

domestically and abroad, covering solar, wind, and energy storage system (ESS) projects.
